Back to school... it's about time.

School starts tomorrow. My daughter is going into second grade. The little dude is starting kindergarten. Needless to say, the house is completely destroyed. Unfortunately for my husband, Rob, I've been busting my ass to get stocked up on the appropriate breakfast foods, baked goods, and afterschool snacks, rather than cleaning up our little hell-hole. Stocking up means baking and cooking all of the aforementioned goodies compulsively for weeks. Oh, and I also have to package and store said edibles.

One can only eat so many vanilla cinnamon pancakes in a day, so the storage and reheating piece is vital. Nobody cares if you whip out 120 pancakes in half-an-hour if they just go stale on the counter. F*** Eggo! A batch of 12 kick ass, made-from-scratch pancakes costs me about $0.50 it's unbelievably easy and you can literally reheat them the same way as their frozen aisle counterparts. The only difference is a fat handful of change and quality ingredients.

Recipes to follow.
